The other day, I saw a used paper back that used this font on the cover and it gave me a font flash back. Ahh... Matrix. The font of my youth I'd rather forget.

This is the font that everyone was using in the early 90s. Graphic Designers loved it because it was a serif font but it felt so "modern." For a while, it seemed like every magazine and book jacket designer was using it. And being a student back then, I emulated them by using this now very dated looking font generously. Everything that uses this font looks so dated to me.

Can a font give you flash backs like songs do? This font brought me back to the smell of laser printers, the sensation of X-acto blades and the taste of nasty deli coffee.
